Your constant defense of LINK while shitting on other coins makes rational discussion in this thread almost non existent.

I don’t defend link I answer questions. I’m pretty sure the guys I convinced to buy from my defense posts under 30 cents don’t mind.

This thread is killed by every post of yours talking about how we are playing the lottery and ever coin is the same so what’s the point. Go back a hundred fricking pages and I’m probably the only one providing crypto insight other than pumps and dumps and this shite is all going to zero posts.

Because of a twitter pump and dump it still has one of the best charts in the past 2 years and is the biggest gainer through the whole bear market

Are you guys just saying iota is trash for the hell of it or is there an actual reason?

CE Tiger and RATeamWannabe have been consistent in their hatred of IOTA going way back in this thread. When asked for a reason you either don't one or you get some vacuous bullshite parroted from r/cryptocurrency. The coordinated FUD against IOTA has no doubt been impressive in its effectiveness. As I said before the day will come when those who bought into the bullshite will look back and wonder how they missed it.

It is OK to not believe IOTA can follow through on the promises and stay away, but to call it a shitcoin is laughable.

Elevator pitch on IOTA. If you know the limitations of blockchain then you should investigate what IOTA brings to the table.

Are there any other companies trying to use the tangle tech that IOTA is doing? I haven’t found any and I’ve researched it. You’ve got a 100 companies trying to figure out blockchain and (1) trying another solution to the crypto problem, that on paper, looks like it’s far superior and solves all the problems. Why are there no more players in the tangle technology? This is groundbreaking stuff with absolutely no hype.

I want to go huge on IOTA but that’s a huge red flag to me. Is it just BS on paper, that could never happen or is there something to it?

I think the trouble is blockchain, a better technology will make it go mainstream.

Nice blog post by the Chainlink team on the power of smart contracts. This is when all this shite becomes mainstream when people realize the money smart contracts will save big companies

Ever since I ventured over to the money board and got a dose of crypto, I’ve got a new meaning and outlook to life. For better or worse, I’m convinced it will be life changing. I save 2 pay checks a month and now 1 will be going to blockchain stocks for the foreseeable future. I’m hooked and there’s no turning back.

This is why I shite on other coins because all this token platforms crap really means nothing. This industry is about smart contracts and the coming of the 4th industrial revolution. Ethereum will be the platform and it will need a middle ware that connects these contracts to the outside world.

I really don’t see the whole one world currency, taking down the banks happening. This is all about utilizing the distributed ledger technology and what smart contracts can do for the finance industry

Fear mongering will always rear it’s head when change is on the horizon, change scares people. I’m guilty of it also but have never capitalized off it like a smart person should. Only fear I have is fearing I don’t get enough money in the game before it’s too late.

This is the type of situation in the future when people will look back and realize what an opportunity missed. Legends are made out of taking risks. 40 years from now when I’m 77 will I regret taking a risk? I don’t believe so

Never invest (or speculate) with more than you can afford to lose. Just saying be careful. It is easy to get swept away with dreams of retiring to the Caribbean when first looking into crypto.

While I agree that a small handful of projects within the crypto sphere will indeed be world changing, there are too many variables (think government regulations, adoption rates, timing, actual computer science principles that determine scalability vs decentralization, etc.) to be sure of any one horse.

As in competitors? Sure, in terms of other projects with DAG architecture there are Byteball, DAGcoin and some others.

What really sets IOTA apart though is that it is not just a cryptocurrency. It is a data transfer protocol with a token built in to allow for value transfer. There many industrial applications in industrial settings that will use the data transfer aspect. This will increase transaction throughput and increase speed and scalability. I think this is what really sets it apart from the rest. When you also consider that it is feeless, scalable and will allow smart contracts ( Qubic) it seems like IOTA is a good bet to be one of the very few that make it.

So why IOTA instead of Ethereum?
