Be sure to consider transaction fees in your analysis if you’re expecting to make quick narrow margin trades.
I put left over fractions of eth I cant do anyhthing with into bnb every now and again for this reason. maybe not really helpful but it makes me feel better

the fees are very small. I'm watching my portfolio right after larger trades and it barely goes down.

I think the small dip today and resistance infront of ETH might be due to the india FUD where the banks say they wont allow transactions to crypto exchanges anymore.
Seems like a dumb dip, though. India was never a big player in this.

A lot of the manipulation you see are arbitrage bots that BTC whales have to suppress ETH.

It's pretty staggering watching the 1m candlestick on eth. Just a bunch of flat green lines

End of SOKO FUD and greenlight for ICX to moon?
quote:
Earlier this week, Korbit told its users and traders that by the end of January, the exchange will begin accepting deposits and withdrawals from Shinhan Bank accounts instead of Kookmin Bank accounts.
quote:
With the recent announcement of Korbit, traders have become relieved and started not to fear about the possibility of a cryptocurrency trading ban. Previously, in an official document, the South Korean government stated that it had requested financial institutions and banks within the regulated finance industry to prevent providing banking services to cryptocurrency exchanges.
quote:
Given the current state of the market and the government’s decision to not impose a trading ban in the short-term, the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange market has been fairly optimistic over the past few days, as shown by the rising price and volumes of cryptocurrencies in both the South Korean and global market.

Right now its at about 40k~ ETH 24h volume. If that starts to drop, it could be a good idea. But if it maintains the current volume, I'd just hodl. Otherwise it won't drop it enough from the recoil to justify the risk.
since this post, VENs volume has gone up to almost 47k and I watched a 350eth wall at 0.00818 melt in about 2 minutes.

VEN is going off right now...

This week ICX is going to see YUGE gains!

looking at the icx walls remaining and ven walls melting without the US markets even awake, I cant leave that money in ICX. I'm taking it out and putting it in VEN and hoping ICX doesnt raise before my coinbase eth comes in.
eta: this is why. Damn I wish I saw this one coming earlier.

That might be part of the reason, but also as likely was the announcement of Breyer’s partnership with Vechain along with the People’s Bank of China.

none of that is super new, especially the breyer thing. we had known he had his money in the project for awhile.
the coin being available on another exchange explains the volume exploding. there is a very good chance it blows up tomorrow if nothing bad comes out. US markets arent open and asian markets havent been completely open enough to take advantage.
high chance for fomo
eta: as an aside, a friend of mine bought 2000ven when it was like $1.50. He was the one who told me about this, the bastard is going to get his lambo.

Finally pulled the trigger. Got ETH at $992. Hope it was a good bet. Bought $1,020 worth, so we'll see.

For those looking, it's continuing to drop, fyi. Might want to look NOW.

It is at $981.18 right now. I hope it drops a little more and I’ll pull the trigger too.

Yeah, I feel you. Waiting has cost me a few times, though, so as soon as I saw it under $1,000 I knew it was time to nut up.

Yep, I went ahead and bought at $980
