Can someone explain what the different markets mean on binance and bittrex? I see Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT.

Does this mean the Ethereum I have in coinbase can only buy from Ethereum market on binance or bittrex?

This is so damn confusing or I’ve turned into my Dad.

The markets are what coins you can buy with each btc, eth, or usdt.

If there is a coin you want to buy and you can't buy it with eth, buy some btc with your eth on there and then buy the coin you want.

The fees on those exchanges are very minimal

Co-founder and developers are pretty confident that once "Q" is release, it will be a top 3 coin.

Hypothetical situation for anyone that reads this:

You have some money to buy 1 or .5 BC as early as tomorrow morning with the hopes of sitting on it for 4 weeks and then selling.

Said money isn't just lying around the house, but it isn't going to break you in the event that something does go wrong.

Do you do it or hold off?

Doesn't sound like you're convinced so I'm not convinced and will not try to convince you.

If you already have a 4 wk period in your mind and think this is some kind of derby, I would hold off. 10k in crypto for a noobie that doesn't have the money to burn is torturous. You will not be able to sleep for a month.

Hold off IMO but ultimately your call 50/50

I should have added the paragraph below to my post above for more info. Sorry about that.

The thought (hope) being after 4 weeks to go ahead and get back the initial investment and leaving whatever profit was made to grow/reinvest in hopes of playing with some house money..

allegedly there is a glitch in the smart contract system that if you enter any digits incorrectly that your money is lost forever and essentially the contract is gone/lost

the only fix is to "not enter things incorrectly", the concern is that ppl might not want to risk that
