Do you guys have any advice for a novice looking to take a 2k risk into cryptocurrency?
I took a risk with 100 then increased it to 500 and then 1000+ but stayed in BTC, LTC, and ETH. Finally trying out Neo and Ripple and doing a small risk till I get the hang out it. Once I fully understand what I am doing I will move more money. I did get lucky when I took my risk on BTC it was around 1700 on my first couple of purchases and 2300 when I made a big purchase.

That makes sense. I noticed that there are several NEO's, BTC - NEO, ETH-NEO, and USDT-NEO. Which one is everyone speculating will be a good buy and hold. Still learning so I apologize in advance.

Is NEO coming back? People were acting like yesterday was the death of it. But usually when that happens these coins come back stronger.

ETH is really doing well in the wake of that NEO news

No clue honestly, it is just one I've watched for awhile and since I am more of a sit and see what happens, rather than a move it as soon as possible, I'm willing to wait it out

I signed up for a Bittrex account and noticed there are NEO's in several categories such as ETH-NEO, BTC-NEO. Are you spreading it across them all or are you going with ETH-NEO? There is a big difference between the USDT-NEO and the other two.

NEO needs to be added to some user friendly sites and once that happens it will take off

They are all the same. Those are just currency ratios.

You can exchange different currencies for NEO and any other crypto on an exchange.

Is NEO coming back?

It'll be back and frankly the news yesterday is good long term. And it didn't even make it drop past $30, it's been up and down between $30-$40 the past few weeks.

I think the first coin to use that platform is set to launch soon. Be similar with ETH, once other coins start launching from that platform the price should start going up.

I think the main cause of the NEO plunge was that the Red Pulse people said they would not offer the Red Pulse ICO to Chinese citizens.

A coin built on a platform (NEO) marketed mainly toward China, would not be sold to Chinese people..

The Red Pulse ICO was supposed to be the next catalyst for this coin to have a big jump in value, so it's understandable that some people would hitch to another wagon looking for short-term pumps...

The alt coin party appears to be starting a bit later than expected.

Did you just buy something? The limit is per week

I waited 9 days after my last purchase on Coinbase, and my limit went from $12 to $15 for credit card.

Did the photo ID, and they raised it to $50, and have to wait 41 days to raise again after that.

When I first signed up my limit was $300 -- wtf Coinbase.....

So I've got a coinbase account (app) and just got a Bittrex account. Since I haven't traded crypto in the past, how do I deposit money or purchase currency within Bittrex? I'm starting from scratch here so I'm beginner at best.

Can't purchase coins in Bittrex with USD. You need to purchase coins BTC ETH on something like Coinbase and then transfer those coins to a wallet on Bittrex to buy/sell Atl coins like NEO, OMG and so on.
