Getting killed in my NEO and ADX holdings today.

Still ahead on NEO, thank goodness, but it's eaten way into my earnings. I was also foolish enough to get ADX near the top. Should have stop/lossed it but my laziness got the better of me this time. Down about 40% on that one. Going to be drinking away the pain of that decision tonight.

Per by crypto friend:
NEO will drop to $28-30. Maybe sell and pick up extra shares when it's that price. Same friend who suggested COVAL and NEO at $7 and ETH last July.
I am seeing a strong support level at $32. If it goes under that, the next big level is all the way down at $21.50. if it drops to 30, it should keep dropping, if it bounces back with Asia at 32, to the moon we go

ETA: I don't really know anything, someone smarter than me suggested that

I'm really new to this and BAT and NEO have killed 25% of what I put in. Maybe this isn't for me.

Not sure what the next move is at this point. My buddy said let it ride.

Agree. Don't sell at a loss, especially right now.

We might be seeing the btc correction right now that we needed.

Neo will go back up. Bat will recover.

Fwiw, very few alts are gaining right now. You get a gain or two here or there but everything is bleeding out.

Just hold what you got. Everyone here will agree

No reason to still be holding onto this then?

Yeah I'd be at a loss. I'll sit back and try not to keep refreshing my wallet every 3 minutes.

at this point, hold on. whenever you have a good 2 days like BAT did, in a perfect world you would sell at the peak and buy back at the dip

Why would you sell BAT, or NEO, or PAY, or ETH, or BTC at a loss? I mean I guess unless it's small and you can guarantee whatever other coin you'd be putting money into will increase in value, by an amount larger than your loss and in a faster time period. If it's a good coin, you aren't going to lose any money by holding. BAT and NEO, for example, will both be worth more in 6 months than what you own them for now. Isn't that the point?

Bitcoin cash is straight murdering it today... they're only mining at 1/8 the hashing power of btc, but are 1/6 of the btc price. I'm selling what i have right meow.

I have sold some things at a loss. I put a finite amount of money into this, and if I don't have any available BTC to throw around, and I see something I suspect is about to shoot up, I have sold something else at a loss and more than made it back in what I traded it out for

Wanted to make a quick buck, which is a terrible way to approach this at all times.

That is how I am. I have about $5,000 all in. I rode ETH for a while then pulled everything out. I got back into BTC before the fork. I am now diversified over a few coins and taking a beating today. Good news is that I am still up by about 9,000. I want to see if I can get to 50k by the end of the year.

Yeah, I don't get the whole never sell for a loss logic. Opportunity cost can sometimes be more valuable than holding on to something for months hoping for the best
