I'm looking at the Tangle to be a diversification from other cryptos. Hoping I'll get to confirm it's value.

it will take off soon, just a matter of when. saw some people saying it should hit top 3 by year-end, which is a little optimistic. should be a fun ride. ill buy some the second it's announced on another exchange

Which begs the question... if you sold an alt coin for btc, when does the taxable transaction take place? When you sell it or when you ultimately convert the btc back to USD?

import your transactions, shows you what you owe.

That would make sense since the conversion of btc to usd is already creating a taxable transaction.

Dumb noob question, I finally had a chance to get all my verification finalized with CoinBase and Bittrex. However I bought a small amount of ETH and transfer it to a wallet on Bittrex but now I'm realizing you can't buy other coins on Bittrex with ETH...is that correct or am I doing something wrong?

Thats the only way I've purchased other coins on Bittrex. You click on the ETH-____ (whichever coin you want) market

If you can't find the coin available to buy with eth but it's available with btc, sell your eth on there for btc, then buy said coin

I've been holding ARK for awhile now and it finally decided to moon today. GAS and Iota doing well too.

Do your research on the whitepaper, development team, roadmap, community etc..
If you believe in the coin hodl it. If it was just some pump from a month ago that you bought into, no point in holding dead money. Move it into another pump or something you have faith in long term.
