I get that the value will start at zero but the amount of tokens you get was relative to a value in your “sacrificed” amount.

Just not sure how, in the long run, these things get classified as.

From my understanding that was a donation/gift so you can't (or shouldn't) calculate that as your "cost" for PLS/PLSX

The donation or gift isn't taxable either though to my knowledge so only profits you get from selling would be.

Yea, for part of my sac I sent $80 cost basis ETH since sacrificing isn’t a taxable event. I was eventually going to completely get out of ETH and sell all of it so that saved me having to pay uncle sam

Huh?

How does that work, and why would I want to migrate my erc20 to pulses chain if my price starts back at 0?

Do you understand how markets work?

The price, when launched is 0. The first buy will instantly become the new price. Not a soul will sell at zero. When I get my tokens at 0 they are worthless, so I earn and owe nothing to Uncle Sam. A microsecond later when it has a value other than zero the free market will decide the price. I only owe taxes when I sell.

your erc20's will copy on the pulsechain whether you like it or not.

The only reason they will be at 0 for a day or so is because the bridge won't be available. You'll be able to ratio trade. As soon as the bridge goes live, the assets will have prices.

You use this tool to check out prices of your prc20 copies.

ETA: all of this is live on testnet and it works great. Pulsex trading. Farms, pools, liquidity providing. The bridge works great as well.

JayDeer, I'm glad you joined us in the presale. In crypto, early is the name of the game and I think we have retirement potential with investing early in Pulse and PulseX.

For anyone who hasn't been following the PulseX buy and burn:

That's on testnet too! Once mainnet is live, I can only imagine how many tokens get burned each day.

Somebody said the pusle chain would allow people to move their erc20 based projects to the pulse chain for very cheap and very easily.

How do you move shiba inu to the pulse chain and start over at 0?

Are you talking about something different? Because I'm only asking about moving projects from another chain to pulse.

Thank you.

This sounds like it works like every other project with a pegged token and a bridge.

I've steered clear of pulse on purpose, so I dont know shite about it. You guys shouldn't waste your time responding to me if I'm not going to do a little research.

I'll start a thread on it right before launch so we can get the board in early. Hopefully most of us bought the presale. I think Pulse does a 10x week 1.

Pulsex is the true gem. Pulsex has the best tokenomics I've ever seen. Pulsex is the only exchange for the entire Pulse ecosystem. Every token exchange/swap has a fee. When using PulseX ~25% of that fee goes to buying PulseX off the open market and burning the tokens. The burn math is stupid good. With Uniswap volume, something like $600-700k of Pulsex is burned daily.

I love DeFi so PulseX is what I am waiting on. Interested to see what all takes off from there.

You don’t. As long as they Shiba people move it over to the chain you will automatically get the copy of your coins.

Don't forget to return the favor when you find an awesome play!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Pulsex burn so significant that the entire supply of Pulsex would be burnt in 2 years at presale price and Uniswap volume?

nah baw. you cant buy every pulsex token, the decimal just moves over.

but really i think the latest math was that if PulseX does 1 billion volume a day it would take 20 years to buy all the available (estimated 17 trillion) tokens. twit but that 1 billion in volume is 700k worth of buy pressure a day....then it burns...

I understand what you are saying, but the pretext to my calculation is pre-sale price. It's not realistic because the price will moon with massive buy and burn pressure, but it is a fun and jaw dropping exercise to compute the burn rate at pre-sale price.

I'm thinking we are close to the bottom of the wave at current prices.

Is the burn hard coded in or is it a team that decides burn amount?
