It doesn't go down that way typically. You think you are just connecting your wallet to a website. It doesn't say you are giving unfettered access to your wallet. That's why it's so important to just use reputable crypto websites.

was my thoughts initially called him an idiot etc
but he had been staking in this defi liquidity pool for a few and they were paying him so he thought it was legit. had video calls with an actual girl. she was sending pictures of her kid. pictures of her opening christmas gifts etc.
she said he should put it a larger sum to help with charities like she does. he of course was emotionally involved at this point and didnt wanna seem anti charity so he goes all in essentially. they drain him then. very elaborate scheme
he was new to crypto tho. xrp and ada maxi type. bought a $50 monthly subscription to some chartist community that was just lol.
so yea, i do think hes easily vulnerable to manipulation but id hate to have more people get hurt so im just giving a heads up

yep. we can track this on debank. type your address. then go to the approval tab. it will list any funds exposed to risk. you can decline the transaction if you see anything shady

The approval page only showed the tokens I added to my wallet. No extra info at all as far as I can tell.

I almost got scammed last night bad.
I'm in the official group for ZkSync on Discord. ZkSync isnt rleasing a token, but I got a DM from a bot that looked super legit. It looked like an announcement message saying that ZkSync token is hitting the market and there are limited pre-orders.
My dumb arse clicked the button and tried to give it my money for so long. Thank god the website was broken or I would've gave that scammer alot. Turns out its a common scam. Stay safe out there!
