Half of my family legit thinks the Rapture imminent, so they invest in ammo and MREs. The other half of my family is all aboard the crypto train. My BIL even works in the cryptosphere as a dApp maker. Needless to say, none of us want to talk about those things at dinner, so we talk about football and the weather

Have a brother in law who works in institutional finance - smart guy early 40s - made fun of me endlessly for Bitcoin for years - and just told me he put some “play money” into Cardano

Right now scope has a buy and sell tax. That will go away post platform.
They talk about this stuff and show videos and screen shots on the telegram.

It's kind of funny.. despite crypto and development being about all I ever think about these days, I don't really talk about it much outside of my wife, brother, and other people in the space. I know that it's still not really part of the normie world, even BTC is beyond most people's understanding, so I just as well not talk about it.

Here are some resources to start learning Web3 development
CryptoZombies (gold standard intro course, everyone does this) -
Ethernaut - Made by OpenZeppelin, they make tons of industry standard smart contracts
Buildspace.so has excellent tutorials/courses.
There are tons of free resources. The Ethereum/Web3 community LOVES educating. Dappuniversity and EatTheBlocks on YT have tons of great material.
There's a Meetup group for crypto in BR that meets at The Bulldog every other Tuesday. One guy that goes from time to time is a developer in the space. I'm learning from him as well. Join the group, it's an interesting mix of people lol

I’ve been trying to buy coins on Coinbase pro and the log in process is so screwed up. Log in wait 10 minutes for verification code. It’s expired, try to log in again and they lock me out of the account because I’ve tried logging in 2 other times. Is there a better, easier platform?
