ETH fees are absurd right now so if ADA can deliver a working product maybe they take some market share away?

they will deliver, not so much take market share as the market will continue to expand imo. Cardano has a huge following, its the one thing holding DOT back a bit

So there’s a little TA information now that this has been going on for a bit.

Looks like an ascending broadening wedge forming on the 1day BTC charts. Those typically return to the very start of the formation which was 30k.

Hasn’t been confirmed yet but it looks like one starting to take shape. There generally has to be three touches to the upper trend line which hasn’t happened yet.

I’d keep an eye on it. News and momentum override TA but FYI.

I think my mind is broken in terms of how I view investments with how excited I would be for Bitcoin to possibly go down just to increase how much I can own

You can now stake ETH through Lido while hosting your private keys with Ledger. You basically exchange the token for stETH which is still liquid and in your custody.

How big do you think the market cap can get? The fastest thing to grow from $0 to $10T was passive investing products in 20 years. BTC probably has the best shot of any asset to beat that.

depends on how much it takes away from gold, silver, bonds, real estate, etc

a lot of money potentially out there to consume

Most people here are extremely confident BTC is going to flip gold, and eventually prove to provide a superior store of value to other assets like real estate or treasury bonds. There is a very very high ceiling here if these assumptions are even close to accurate.
