Is the volume there to actually support this claim? Seems like a significant amount of dumping taking place and not much buying.. I guess it could be a drawn out strategy by the corps to purchase a set amount over a given period of time.

Let’s play a theory game.
We were kinda supposed to see 100k btc this cycle. If we don’t, why didn’t we?
My theory is with tax code and diminishing returns on btc, we may be entering an “every other cycle” type situation where you get a disappointing run followed by a huge one.
I suppose we will see- perhaps this is wishful thinking in my part but I’d like to believe a disappointing cycle leads to one that exceeds expectations next time.

Btc has a confidence interval of where the peak will be during a cycle.
2017 actually exceeded the confidence interval.
This year will (theoretically) be falling short of expectations.
