Sorry to clutter this with another Coinbase question. I didn't want to start a whole new thread. A few pages back, a month or two ago, I had mentioned that I sold ethereum and it wasn't letting me withdraw it, yet shows it as cash in my fiat wallet. I have all of the checks for authentication and what not. I have sent numerous tickets to the support account, and even made a stupid reddit account to ask them directly, and no answer. Should I just buy back into a crypto and send it to another platform? a buddy mentioned switching from Coinbase to "Blockchain" or something, but I wasn't sure if there were better options. It isn't a lot of money, just a few hundred, but I want to to get it moved to robin hood and try to invest in other stuff there but I can't because Coinbase is holding it, for nearly a month now. I also set up a PayPal account a few weeks back and it won't let me send it to PayPal either. Anyone else have problems with Coinbase like this? Sorry again for cluttering this thread. I have googled and googled and googled and can't find anything relevant to my issue.

I just sold and withdrew $20 for a test, and it said it will be in my account by 12/31.

Everything that guy said about Bitcoin, is actually true about XRP.

I wasn't aware that you could send from Coinbase to Robinhood. Sorry I am a newbie, but I looked it up but the articles could have been old, that said it wasn't compatible but they (RH) was potentially trying to launch that feature at some point? That would be the best option in all honesty. I don't want to have to make another account and go through verifications on another crypto site if I don't have to.

Edit: @James, idk mine shows up as available balance "$450ish" underneath on the withdraw menu and it has above "you have $0 available for withdrawal." idk. Maybe there's a longer hold since I don't use my Coinbase too frequently but I would think selling, and the sell posting and completing, on 11/30 would be cleared to withdraw by now.

I'm transferring to a bank account, not a card. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Yeh I have tried to do it to my card, bank account, and PayPal. It won't let me get past the first withdrawal part where it says enter an amount in.

Which I'm sure every platform has their problems but if they'd answer their help inquiries via email, or even on their reddit account it wouldn't bother me so much. I can't find any phone line to call, except a fraud hotline, and my situation isn't fraud. I'll figure something out, ill look into just transferring it to robin hood, I could really use that little money to try to put it into some stocks or something on Robin Hood lol.

It's only supposed to be a currency. Thats the only function and utility it needs to be successful.

Wrong. This technology is much bigger than just “currency”

It means that the people that are propping up Bitcoin don't give a frick about anything but it rising in value, and that will be the case forever.

I mean, correct me if I’m wrong, but if you buy BTC on Robinhood, you should have a BTC wallet in there to store it. So you should be able to send BTC to that wallet from anywhere, then withdraw it

I ran into something similar with coinbase. Deposited 3k. Made some buys. Sold out when the market started getting hammered. Tried to wire back to my checking because I wanted to switch to binance. Now I'm in some type of weird limbo where my money sits in USD$ but isn't available for withdrawal

From what I've read it's supposedly a 12 day hold for some unknown reason. But ive read people say theve held for a month. I don't actually need the money but it's pissed me off enough to where I would never us coinbase again, that's for sure

I would assume so, but I couldn't figure out whether or not Robinhood would let incoming coins, I know at one point they did not. Thanks for the help though my man, I'm going to try that and if it doesn't work just send it to blockchain or one of the other places.
