Possibly. It will be locked up for a few years if you choose to do so
Posted on 12/1/20 at 1:10 pm to RATeamWannabe
Would also be considered a taxable event.

Hey CE Tiger, another Coinbase question. (sorry in advance). I've only ever sent money/ crypto to CB but never sent cash back to a bank act or PayPal. The directions online seem straight forward but the cash is not showing up to send when I try (although its in my portfolio). Is there a waiting period before you can transfer cash back to a bank account/paypal wallet?
I know Robinhood has the hold periods for stocks but I wasn't sure if Coinbase had a similar feature or not. Sorry newb question don't roast me.

LINK just continues to break down vs BTC.. 4 Hour MACD about to death cross and join the Daily and Weekly as bearish. That ought to get the bots really dumping it

Not sure I guess it depends on your account level and how much info you gave them. For me as level 3 I can convert to cash and then send to my linked bank account

Ahh didn't think of that. I never really use it I bought ethereum right before it drastically all plummeted and it finally went up enough to warrant me taking it out so I sold it but now it's not being really simple to withdraw it. Prolly just a few day hold like Robinhood. Thanks baw.

I went ahead after watching most the day that I converted my Bitcoin which was a little over 1 and a half! I converted to XLM which now I have 201,000 XLM! Coinbase hit me for a fee but I'm at peace now! If Bitcoin survives I can convert it to that I own 1 and be ok! Just love it that I don't have to worry about the stuff I've read today about Bitcoin dropping to 7,000 range! Around the 14th of December! If that happens I can buy more Bitcoin lol after I see what happens December 3rd! Tots better do the same or he will be hurting!

There are 0 scenarios where BTC "does not survive" and anything else goes up in the process

London has regulations in January! Only 3 crypto have been accepted! XRP, XLM, Chainlink
China is cutting the electric on mining Bitcoin!
USA regulations only 1 coin has wanted regulations! XRP
DECEMBER 3RD 10AM is the date! I have money and will make either way! Bitcoin I hear may drop to 7000 and would be a buy back 3 times offer! I'm winning

Okay so explain this for me please. You guys are saying on Dec. 3 Bitcoin is going to plummet? Why is this?

It’s one person saying it. Go back and look at his post history and then just ignore

If Bitcoin drops to 7k
(It won’t, maybe he meant 17k)
Then that XLM conversion is going to zero. You can tell the dude has no fricking clue what he’s doing. If BTC is going to lose support, obv you just go in cash. All in XLM??

XLM will melt your faces!2021 and 2022. Bull run. I’ll be at High School tomorrow at 5:15 for football pracrics. My son doesn’t quit because I am a 4th quarter guy. I good at math. I can count to potato.

I like things about Link, XRP, and XLM but this is the most idiotic thing you could have ever done. There are only ever going to be 21 million Bitcoin. That’s not enough for every millionaire in the world to own a full Bitcoin let alone the financial companies like Greyscale and PayPal. Also these companies are buying more Bitcoin than is currently being mined. “Wholecoiners” are going to be incredibly rare in the future when crypto is fully accepted by the mainstream financial system. You may believe in those other coins but that was an amazingly stupid thing to do.
Posted on 12/2/20 at 8:22 am to tigermed
Eh I think it was stupid to that he put it into XLM. I still don’t see the value in Bitcoin I have never owned a whole one and probably never will
Posted on 12/2/20 at 8:26 am to CE Tiger
Plus if you just did this on Coinbase you made one hell of a taxable event and now have to pay all your btc gains
Posted on 12/2/20 at 8:27 am to CE Tiger
in any "alt-season!" scenario, XRP and XLM are going to run and run fast.. No doubt outpacing LINK as they have been without a pulse for 3 years while Link spent the last year running to all time high
the question is how many people will be left holding this junk when the music stops

there are so many things wrong with what he did. You can seriously look at any chart everytime bitcoin drops and see everything drop with it. if bitcoin drops to something like 7000 than xlm will be like .05 again

Link did all its gains in a BEAR market based on integrations and utilization. In a true bull Link will pump and pump hard. It still hasn’t made its Ethereum like move but it’s coming soon
