Touched .38 today. Just wild this drop.

Positive results is great, awesome to see some progress. But for pharma investing real world clinical relevance is equally important.
The therapy costs similar to standard of care on its own for the first 3 years, and is used addition to it. So there's diminishing returns as it nearly doubles the price of treatment but their data does not show proportional benefit to cost increase.
Even with a long tail 5 yr survival doubling to like 13% it's still a bleak picture for a rare disease a lot of people can't afford standard of care as it is.
And In a study that's been delayed so long and remains years away from approval just isn't attractive for long money to maintain buy the news for prices. Greatly prolonged studies are a bright red flag

I wonder if the early presentation slides (with references to all the various failed GBM studies) triggered the start of the sell-off and then the stop loss selling drove it all the way down below 0.40. Did the early sellers just not understand how many GBM failures there have been?
Amazing activity today with some recovery.
Anyway, the slides are still available for those interested. The response difference with residual disease was possibly the most provocative potential difference. Slides 25-26 and 45-47 are good summary slides. It doesn't take much observation to notice the passing mention of the potential for wider utility for other solid tumors (page 26)
Both endpoints met. Whatever the price action that's probably the take home point

But today, news just potentially leaked that the P3 trials are being published in MAJOR MAJOR journal player JAMA. If this is real, could cause a major run. The data are being presented by the Linda Liau (who invented this technology) at SNO conference on Sunday.
Very interesting time here.
