Id like to see that kind of news come during or after 2/20 earnings.
Let it build on its own merit until then.

This has had some wild swings the last 2 trading days. No way i’ll try to swing trade this mofo. Glad i stayed in. Good move on the calls!

That’s why I play calls that I think are conservative enough to hold a bit.

Is this more silmilar to LUMN or TSSI or none of the above.
Posted on 2/6/25 at 6:38 pm to LChama
In what way? I don’t know TSSI at all.
Posted on 2/6/25 at 7:07 pm to LChama
Closer to TSS.
Although tss is hardware focused and nebius is software focused, with lumn being networking focused.

Ok thanks. Dont want to derail.. just seeing if im too heavy in the same area with these three

They all could fall under “speculative AI” plays, but, those 3 handle entirely different things.
If I am understanding everything correct,
NBIs is AI software development (GPUS creating images and video, cars learning how to drive, for example)
TSS would provide and build out hardware to create and maintain the data centers to house all the data AI learns on
And LUMN connects the data centers to the “AI brain” via fiber optics

So TSSI is similar to CLS…
And LMNR is like ANET or CRDO…
Roughly?

I’ll have to dive in further to paint a better picture when I get time, but I think lumn is similar to anet, minus the horrible debt lumn is in.
CLS looks to be wayyyy more robust than TSS. A ton more offerings. CLS could provide what tss does, tss couldn’t dream of what CLS does.

I just realized that the significant spike near the end of the day may have been solely due to the 45 seconds of CNBC coverage.
Can you imagine what major Wall Street analysts covering this stock would do

Interesting.
I pay for level two order book through webull (cash account trading broker) to see bid/asks and to determine where to place liquidity on lower volume plays, but I couldn’t find the order block information that sent NBIS up so high so quick.
Was trying to determine if it was one giant order, or a series of lower volume orders. Seems I need book viewer through Nasdaq at an additional fee for such data.
May have been a dark pool order that cheddarflow alerted to their sub base that caused the spike. Or good ole CNBC shilling it to retail, but I have my doubts. That was gigantic shrek candle that I didn’t observe elsewhere, I suspect a gigantic order from big money came through at “the dip” and others tailed the momentum
