I am one of the suckers moving into tech. Don’t know anybody changing their retirement strategy either. If anything, the ones I know are glad to be getting some retirement assets at a discount after the last few years of paying such a premium. It certainly hasn’t slowed inflows. I don’t see anything changing that in the near future (unless China really follows through on threats, which is unlikely).

I tell people on here we are in a recession and they act like I am the devil. Presumably they don’t want anyone to say something negative about Biden’s economy because there is no other reason to be so passionate about a term that doesn’t greatly impact stocks.

I find this board to be extremely conservative politically. They are all Dave Ramsey following, stocks only go up, buy Vanguard funds, and "you're a retard if you talk to an advisor" group (bring on the DV's). When you're so committed to a stance, you have to be passionate you're right.

Anyway, I'm off the soap box before the tomatoes start coming at my head, back to regularly scheduled debate...

I see the board as just the opposite

Please elaborate. I see the overwhelming majority who mention politics on MT dogging Biden, and while I do not like the guy at all, some of them show the depth of their understanding of longstanding issues in doing so.

"They are all" is the only part I'd correct. There is a group of folks on here that are well thought out. It's why it's entertaining.

True, glancing at the first page, I haven't even been in any of those. Good point.

With today’s strong jobs report and the market now raising its expectation of a 50 point increase to a 75 point increase at the next meeting, it looks like my prediction is on the right track.
