My 12 year old told me to buy Roblox Corporation (RBLX)

a week ago. Looking like he is smarter than me at this investing thing. His first pick looking like a HR so far. He now owns 10 shares. Was trying to get him interested in investing early. Gonna think everything he buys now will just shoot up 
Anyone else own this? I think they said this maybe one of the metaverse stocks long-term.

When I was 12 all I thought about was football and girls
Of course I’m 30 now and still don’t know much on stocks and still mostly think about football and girls.

I could own 10 shares and it still wouldn’t cover the amount of robux my kids have spent on it.

It's been a pretty popular play recently. Not to take away from your kid picking a good one, but if you follow day trading at all it's been a hot one to follow for the past couple of weeks.

Only knew of it as a gaming stock but my son comes in while i'm doing my daily stock thing. We get to talking and says you need to buy it and gives me the 411 on it .On a whim i bought 10 shares and said their yours. I have seen it but would have never bought it without his suggestion. So he's off to a good start for now .Dad may need it to recover from my paypal and SQ purchases over the last few months

I wish I would have bought in my own account. I bought at the ipo in my niece and nephew’s inherited IRAs because they love Roblox. They owe me a fee this year.

I forced myself to buy a very very little of rblx dash and abnb at a dip after the ipo…
Just to shut myself up with my fomo.
They are up …my other ipo stuff that were suppose to already have future contracts are down :(

Same here, each kid owns some shares and they are better than me at picking stocks
