What would be a good starting position?

Seems most people still think it's well undervalued at its current price. I had it previously at $47.60 and wished I had held it longer. But there's a chance it gets back there again. I would say ~$48.00 is pretty good. But I may buy back in higher than that.

Lawsuit from the very company that allegedly stole their IP in Taiwan. Insane

What do you think? Buy now at under $51 or hold and see what Thursday does?

I bought some at 57 thinking a short down cycle. Going to double down if it goes sub 50

It is still a 70 dollar stock

Definitely. Already up premarket, multiple analysts coming out saying this isn’t a big deal. You can read some numbers on news and articles that have recently come out on seeking alpha. The PE is under 5 right now, it almost makes zero sense how cheap this stock is given the growth and performance of the company.

If anything, no matter what MU is a volatile stock in a volatile industry, so you could start a small position and wait to see which way the wind continues to blow before adding more. It could get to 60-65 and still be worth buying.

Also they just issued a statement saying only 1% of revenues are affected and reaffirming full year guidance.

Yeah, I held off hoping for a little dip pre-market and saw it had jumped $2.00. Missed out there, but it has dipped back down some since, so watching it again.

Considering the relatively sound financials and guidance, this underperformance has been hard to figure out. The Chinese situation is part of it. But even before that, the price action has been surprisingly weak.

This one is a trade for me, not something I'm looking to hold longer term. With its higher implied vol, trading options around it has made it pretty much breakeven at this point. But with the weak price action to date, I'm concerned that if there's a market downturn, it's going to get hammered.
