“Convictions were overturned”
What…this isn’t even remotely close to the truth. Lay…heart attack, Cliff…suicide and many others spent years in prison…but yeah almost all were overturned.

Andrew Weissman was one of the prosecutors. It is all one needs to know about the corrupt prosecution of ENRON.

Good insight. The financing is going to happen whether Nvidia does it or not. They’re just taking advantage of it by coordinating the cash with BlackRock, Apollo, Brookfield etc.
This will become a new asset class that will be financed by the Asset-Backed Security (ABS) market. The ABS market finances all types of asset classes, including auto loans, credit cards, franchise loans, military housing, rail cars etc.
Enron had real businesses that they decided to sell/spin off because they wanted to commit fraud because it was a faster way to make money.
Look at Kinder Morgan (Rich Kinder was at Enron) and EOG Resources, it literally stands for Enron Oil & Gas.
Not to mention they were light years ahead of their next competitor in the broadband market. The infrastructure just wasn’t ready at that time.
