They really need to go to the payroll companies and get some masked data that gives a broad cross section of real-time data.

That's what I think as well. ADP surveys are based on info from their clients. Maybe try and incorporate that into the broad based HH and business survey's the BLS uses. The BLS just doesn't get a very good response rate.
Something has to change because this ain't working.

AI is probably exacerbating the problem. Nobody wants to complete those surveys. Who knows how many employers just automate the responses they think BLS wants.
