LSU Fee Bill - TOPS

My son will be an incoming freshman at LSU this fall. I was able to view his fee bill this morning and I noticed a $1500 credit which I assume is for his scholarship but I do not see where his TOPS award has been credited. Is this normal or should I see an anticipated TOPS award credit on his fee bill at this point?
I am anticipating a $4,000 TOPS Honors award in addition to $1500 per semester scholarship money. I know that they do not fund TOPS until later in the semester but wondering if the anticipated amount should be subtracted from the total amount due on the fee bill at this point.

Just be prepared to pay a ton in fees, roughly $2,500 a semester if I recall correctly, that TOPS does not cover.
Also if I recall correctly, TOPS takes longer to come in correctly. I would call and they should answer your question rather quickly.

Thanks. I do see a credit of $1500 which I would assume is his scholarship award and that amount can go toward fees after TOPS kicks in.

Does it actually say TOPS anticipated payment? My sons fee bill has $1500 anticipated financial credits but says nothing regarding TOPS.

It says anticipated Tops and Anticipated Tops Stipend.

Yeah well we passed up some damn strong offers from out of state schools so that TOPS money better kick in.

My daughters' has credit for anticipated TOPS on her fee bill. Is your son staying on campus? If so I don't see the mandatory meal plan on my daughters fee bill. Have any idea how / when I pay that?

I don't know if this is your issue but if you are logging in via the email when the fee bill screen comes up click on the button thats says view fee bill. I thought initially I was viewing the fee bill but when I clicked that button different "numbers" came up that included the TOPS credit. No clue why they are different look.
