More than likely need a jumbo loan. We were thinking American Airlines credit union (actually started the pre-approval process).

Before I start down the rabbit hole of filling out a mess of paperwork with multiple lenders, do y’all have any lenders you’d recommend for the best rates? Are companies like Rocket worth my time? Our credit is solid

Thanks in advance

Subtle

We went with GMFS when we refinanced a year ago and thought the process was smooth. Got a solid rate.

I can give you a quote without pulling your credit for Jumbo loans. Other options are a conventional with a HELOC. Depends what your needs are and your income type. Whatever you do, do not go to the online lenders. If you are buying a house, many real estate agents won't even consider the offer if the lender is not local. Reach out at username@gmail.com

Exactly what this guy said. Try and Keep your lender local/in state as most realtors will only work with a local lender.

And yes, Sometimes the jumbo deal might not work for you (your income, especially if you are self employeD) so you can do conventional loan ($647k max) w/ a home equity line of Credit.

If you can qualify for Navy Fed, check into them. All loans are serviced by them for the life of the loan.
