Pentagon announces today at 11 who gets to build the Next Gen Air Dominance fighter, Lockheed or Boeing. what happens to their stock today? Im new to stock trading with very little invested, just curious about cause and effect on things like this

Would think it's a pretty muted response considering all the scrutiny that government contractors are coming under now.
Even if awarded not sure how much certainty things continue.

Whoever loses will contest the award anyway. It will probably get settled with the loser producing an amount of the components required by the winner, or something like that.
