This could be a problem. Plus with the economy the way it is right now the banks are really picky about who they give their money to.

Go to your bank and talk tell the person in the lobby you are interested in looking for a signature loan. Don't mention school or a car, make something up that you need the money for. They will run your credit and tell you what you need to do to get approved if you aren't approved on the spot. This is all assuming you can afford the payments. If not, then for fricking the economy some more. Good luck.

if you have an account at a bank, you should be good as long as you didn't frick anyone over on some bills and if you can prove that you make decent money for a decent amount of time.

If i were you, I'd take a 3 year period. Its cheap per month. You get fricked on interest, but hey, you could just be broke trying to save money at a min. paying job

Don't do it. Suck it up and save at home while you can. Once you move out you will have some major bills that you probably don't have now. Living at home will be your last good shot at saving some $$$.

I wouldnt say that. Just suck it up and dont take the loan. I would have blown all that money very quickly when I was 19.

I just got one about a week ago....very easy (for me at least)

Fill out a FASFA online (way easy these days), send it in and your school will let you know what you can borrow.
