I think Edmunds will give you a 5-yr cost to own with standard depreciation, etc, not sure about KBB, etc.

Whatever you normally drive/commute to your current job should be backed out as well.

Im selling my 2009 Jetta that gets great millage and it has <21K miles on it. I think you would be better taking this option rather than a lease. Let me know if interested. It's listed at $14,900 on ebay now as a classified ad. That's negotiable if you have something to negotiate with.

ETA: Even if you finance the entire amount, you've made a $5700 dent in the loan rather than turning the vehicle back in. The car is rated at 21/29 gas mileage btw.

I don't know if you live anywhere close to make this feasible, but I could help out a fellow TDer.
