Is that still a thing? I don't see any dealerships promoting car leases like they used to.

A 72 month note is a better investment than a lease baw

depends on the car. some cars lease well others dont. what type of car are you trying to lease?
leases have taken a hit with car pricing as of late but there are still some decent deals out but you have to work with a broker or be on top of your shite to get a good deal.
I would look into leasehackr.com and see what people are paying for the vehicle you want. great info on there and I can tell you already that no lease deal that a dealer advertises is worth even looking into. there are also some lease brokers that advertise what they have available and you can work with them.
for instance I got a $61k wrangler 4xe for a little over $300 a month like a year and a half ago. They are still selling those but they are currently like in the $500 per month range now. different parameters affect the lease of a vehicle and sometimes things line up very well and it makes sense. typically if you have a vehicle with high residual value like a wrangler, decent interest(money factor), then decent incentives and dealer rebate, you can make a good deal. what helped on my wrangler lease was the $7500 tax credit for EV gets treated like a dealer incentive and the dealer I ordered from was knocking off like 8-9% off msrp.

I'm guessing there's no need to with lack of inventory and the insane margins they are getting today.
