I suspect a purely political reason

Unless your real name is Sidney Powell, just how would Chase know anything about your political leanings???

On a political and finance board I used to post on, a girl named Rachel complained that Bank of America had canceled her checking, savings and credit card accounts. Turned out she was Rachel Oberlin (Bree Olsen) and they realized who she was during her “Tiger Blood Goddess” tour. So if you’re a porn star (or maybe if you’ve dated Charlie Sheen in the past few years), yes, possibly they’ve targeted you. But otherwise, just accept that you’re not that important. Neither am I. Stuff happens.

Call and ask why... or don’t - but lose the conspiracy theories and the tinfoil hat. It’s not a good fashion statement.

I agree that it seems really bad business for a bank to drop customers for a conservative political leaning. It would seem that’s who they would want to target to keep as customers because by theory alone, a conservative will be likely to keep more money in the banks hands. Im such a peon that I never really thought much about this because my little bank balance won’t get me in any champagne rooms or VIP clubs no matter which political party I subscribe to.
