Jobless claims fell to under 1M - markets going up

For the first time since the pandemic began, jobless claims are now below one million and the markets have erased their pre-open losses. It’ll be interesting to see how it shakes out by the close.

Had the market not been acting like it had been for the last 9 days, it would probably be mildly up.

And there's still a chance it ends up heading that way, the day is still young, like last Friday went green at the last minute on 2 of the 3 indices.

But I know I'm in wacky lala land when what we have people calling...this, solidly down. Like we only start going that way when you're talking a minimum a half percent down, and even that is not bad.

INITIAL jobless claims. Over $25 million still unemployed.
