What’s your timeframe for holding?

You don’t want to be the first OR the last to the party. You just want to be there while everyone is having a good time.

Not trying to be a smartass, I’m new to all this but if this is the case, shouldn’t we be selling? If we’re anticipating a drop, I’m up a little on shares I bought last week. Should I be looking to sell and then buy back after the next drop. Right I’m holding and I still have cash on the side. Doesn’t seem like now is the time to buy though, if anything sell

If the market prices a stock below 5 bucks, chances are you do NOT want to hold that one long term.

FYI I am on the same page as you right now. I am going to stop posting it as not to be a constant negative here but I think everyone rushing to buy right away is doing so because of FOMO and the belief that is MUST go up!

What you see is the majority of the people want the market higher especially after FED and/or Treasury interventions because their simpleton thinking arrives no other conclusion than higher prices. That is why TARP, Bazooka and other FED attempts triggered massive crashes in 2008 and 2020 so far.

over-optimism about the stimulus. When earnings continue to decline and unemployment continue to rise, we will see another sell-off
