Is anyone’s work cell caller ID the company name?

I have a vacation rental and someone was blowing up my work line today with caller ID-Best Buy. My business line voicemail is very clear to leave a message and if it’s important I’ll call back. Of course, no message. So I’m not going to answer Best Buy on a Sunday. Finally I answered thinking maybe I forgot about an order or something...Apparently the guy works for Best Buy Corporate in Minnesota, I mean I had to ask him. I’ve never had someone’s personal cell as a corporate business name unless it’s something like Larry’s Lawn Service or a mom and pop business.
So every friend this guy calls thinks Best Buy or a spammer is calling him? Lol

A lot of folks use work cells only (work provides one so they don’t have a personal).

Thats me and I believe it shows as my company name on a land line caller ID.

I’ve been told once or twice mine shows up as my company name. Not always though

if they were friends wouldn't that have his contact info in their phone? My phone shows whatever I put into it- Mom, Wife, Dipshit...

Ha yeah, correct. Ok so not friends or family, but still everyone you call.
Obviously actually work calls are fine to come from the company, but this guy was in Florida on Vacation from Minnesota. Just seems odd to me for a corporate guy to have a call come in like that.

Absolutely and I get that. But I’ve never had a guy call me that worked for say Coca Cola for a personal call and it shows as Coca Cola. It’s usually a name or anonymous or whatever.
