Is the government going full authoritarian a "got ya?"
No, but I'm just telling you they can make crypto all but useless in the US, if they wanted to.
Laws are already on the books for that sort of regulation.
You're confusing with me discussing what is possible and/or legal and my policy preferences on what should be legal. Are you going to be able to keep up with the actual conversation or are you going to just create diversionary ad hom attacks and admit you don't have the mental fortitude to stay on topic?

Interesting Binance.US USD deposits and withdrawals have been temporarily suspended for a few days now. Guessing they are having a hard time finding a banking partner after SBNY was sold off, but nobody wanted the crypto business.
Also busd pairs are all suspended as well...
I'm sure it's all temporary. Hopefully everyone got their money off binance with all the warnings

So you are telling me that the government would have to act the very way in which Bitcoin was designed to protect its users from?
Do you understand how uninformed you sound right now?

You are right. I shouldn't waste any more time talking to someone who is truly ignorant on the subject.

Crypto P2P will always exist, and maybe getting rid of the corrupted centralized exchanges will truly help the space.
However the majority of the crypto narrative is speculation and not any specific use case. Bitcoin specifically rarely is used for actual goods and services. But yeah get rid of all the price manipulation and possibly it stops the volatility. I think that would flush a lot of users from the space, but then it could actually be used a currency.

Maybe in the next few decades something will finally out perform it Bitcoin.
