This whole year we've been able to get a feel for all areas of BR and make a more informed decision as to where we want to call home. You really need to live here for some time to get a true feel for the area.

I hear you. We definitely don't want to rush into buying again right away. I'm more comfortable renting for a couple of years while I figure out everything else. However, the idea of moving back into an apartment is quite scary after owning my own home.

I know Baton Rouge fairly well as I grew up visiting my grandparents there, as well as when I lived there from 2003-2009 while earning my degrees. However, a lot has changed, and it would be nice to get a better idea of where I want to settle down in my adult life.

Bmath,

I'd be glad to help you on this end in Baton Rouge. I am a Realtor with Re/Max and work all over Baton Rouge. If you need a rental for a while before you buy I can handle that too. Here is my website [link=(www.buyingbatonrouge.com)]www.buyingbatonrouge.com[/link].

Let me know how I can help.
