AMC shareholder vote will be based on shareholders as of the record date, which is June 2nd. Settlement is 2 days, so you had to have bought the stock on 5/28. Proxy materials won’t be sent out until after tomorrow. If you’re expecting some sort of official count in the next 8 weeks, you’re going to be disappointed.

The stock can do all types of things - up or down- until then. Greygoose likes to chide the “hopes and prayers” comment, but that’s a better explanation of what’s moving this stock than anything that he’s put forth. It’s being bought up by retail in the hope a short squeeze will ensue, but there is little actual evidence of these “billions” of synthetic shares that he and others like to claim. It’s FOMO of the highest order, and it working right now. It becomes sort of a self fulfilling prophecy, but the amount of money needed to move this stock to $100 or $200 is another story altogether. Doesn’t mean it’s impossible, but people are just throwing shite at the wall with these predictions. Hell, why not?

You have to factor in the price of the option when you bought it. So if you paid $2, you'd theoretically clear $7 x 200.
