I've bought three houses in BR.
Used GMFS for the first two.
Thought they were 'ok'
Used The Mortgage Firm for the last purchase and the overall experience was much, much, better.
I highly recommend Jamie Taylor.
More personal, more relaxed, less rushed.

My wife worked for them for years and left for another company last year. I just told her about this thread and she said they’re the best in the business for new construction.
