Anyone using Shell's fuel reward card? If so, how does it work?

get a penfed platinum reward card... its the best for fuel.

I got the cash version instead
It's 5% CASH back on gas and .25% on everything else
I only use it for gas though so the lack of other benefits don't bother me
Points are ok but some points cards have shitty redemption options
I didn't even look at their points options

Anyone know if you have to make a minimum amount of $ a year to get that card? I have great credit but I don't have a full time job (wife does) and heard they require you to send in a W-2. Is that correct?

I read that before i applied... i think it requires on your credit score... if you are borderline they will likely make you send in a w2...
i didnt have to send anything they approved me on the first go for like a 8k limit....
i dont think you will have an issue.

i just looked at my rewards account.. you can get a visa cash card for 5000 points.. so it works out to be basically the same thing... just not a check i guess
They also have some deals where it looks like they team up with a random merchant and give gift cards at a better rate... like right now they have a $25 outback gift card for 2,400 points...
