I don’t know if this is always smart.

Long holding periods tend to reward shareholders of good companies.

50% after short term gain tax won’t leave a lot of profit.

Don’t invest money you can’t live without. Even the best companies can fluctuate in price up or down 50% in a 52 week period.

Calling the top and the bottom requires exquisite timing which I’ve never had.
