I got an e-mail back from the state saying that E-85 vehicles were eligible and that to use 71F when claiming this credit. Gave me a number and the persons name sending me the E-mail if I had any questions.
Who did you get in contact with? Because I can't get ahold of anyone intelligent

It is.........I had a CPA verify who does over 800 peoples taxes during tax season, flex fuel is credited on a new purchase up to 3000 dollars.
Call that bitch and tell her that LINK clearly states its a Louisiana tax credit.

Well guys , got the same person this a.m. Apparently she is assigned to my account. She told me that she had submitted it for review by audit.

Sounds to me like you are dealing with a person who thinks they have more power than they do.......take pictures of your flex fuel vehicle.....make copies of the invoice, and there is no possible way with the LA statue in place that they can revoke this credit for you unless it was bought used and you are the 2nd owner.

Force, i submitted the registration the bill of sale from the dealer and the window sticker. I

Roofdog, Keep us updated man! I am dropping off my paperwork to my CPA today.

Man, it's gonna suck if i dont get approved. I dont know what to do if its rejected in the review process. I dont know if i can resubmit through a CPA or not at that point. How can some people get it and others not? They should all be approved if just one was approved.

I'm sending all docs off on Monday for this credit. I have reviewed documentation and LA statutes. I don't see any reason this should be rejected. I've even spoke to someone at LA Dept of Rev and they said all I had to do was file an amendment.

It now says on my online that my refund is pending approval....,,

I told you this the first time you posted it. Flex Fuel is nothing. You can run regular gas in it. It is nothing special. All cars can run E85. It is just that the e85 might cause the regualr tank and line to rust quickly. All you have is a special coating inside of your fuel system.

My post came off kind of dickish, I apologize. But I thought only hybrids and electric were eligable for this.

E85 is allowed a Louisiana Credit of the smaller of 10% of purchase price or $3K.
