10k off sticker minimum for F150's

Are these kind of inflated prices and subsequent haggling the norm only for new trucks? What about small SUVs, sedans and the like? How much lower than the sticker should you offer the dealer for these smaller vehicles?

You're telling me I can go to Mac haik (I live in Houston) and get a loaded 2013 F150 supercrew lariat for 29000?

No, but you can get it cheaper at Mac Haik than you will anywhere else.

I bought a 2013 Platinum in May from there and gave 38500 for a truck with sticker over 50k. I have X Plan and the advertised price was cheaper than X plan.

I tried every dealer in the city and as far out as Sealy. Some would match, none would beat the Mac Hiak internet price.

In 2011 I got a brand new F-150 Lariat for about $36,000 before trade-in. Sticker price was $43,000.

13k off 2013 XLT

Ford is going to be showing off the redesigned F series at the Detroit autos how next week. I want a new truck but going to wait until the end of the year and see what kind of deals they have on the outgoing 14 model.

Mac Haik always has great prices on Fords. Are there any comparable GM dealers like this around Houston?

Mac haik makes money on volume

Purchasing from them would be the easy way but I use their site mainly as a pricing tool bc they have such a large inventory

That's what I did

I showed them the Mac haik price and asked if they wanted me to drive to Houston or if they'd compete with the price

Well you're probably looking at probably about 40k minimum (2wd)

I'm really anxious to see the redesign. I really don't have any idea of what to expect
