I needs some recs for an estate attorney if you guys got them.

My grandparents left a sizeable estate. My sibling an I are our late fathers heir, so his half interest is now ours. His sibling wants the house, to have an estate sale, etc and wants some previous gifts held out of our half. There are wills and trusts that may need to be contested since both my grandparents were in the nursing home when their wills were signed. Hell my grandfather didn’t even sign his on the line. Im pretty sure they weren’t present at signing when it was signed by the attorney.

I don’t know if all estate attornies would be able to handle this or if some just specialize in setting up wills, trusts etc.

TIA.

Not BR, but Max Nathan in NOLA might be the best estate attorney in the state. If you can't get him, the rest of his firm is good as well.

Sounds like you are about to get into a will contest with your uncle. I don't know your relationship with him but situations like your OP can get very ugly, very fast. I hate these situations. Accepting less than you are entitled to may be cheaper than a fight. Best of luck to you.

My prayers are with you...i had to deal with this with my dad's family in baton rouge...he was one of seven and his family fought over a large tract of land.. its sad that some of the families don't even speak to each other anymore....
I have two words for you GOOD LUCK....
