I am 60, when my company got bought out i tranferred roughly 500, 000 in a Silac Denali annuity. Would it be best if i started drawing the 5 % after one year or wait. It a 10 year plan.

If you need or want the withdrawal, yes. You could use it for a mortgage payment on a rental property?

Quick question, you put $500,000 in one annuity?

Another question if you answered yes above, why did you listen to someone that recommended you to put $500,000 in one annuity?

I like annuities and understand their purpose but this is tough
