Tesla is doing EV's the right way, but having every car manufacturer rushing in all at once while Biden's billions for charging stations has been slow train wreck has certainly taken the blush off of the EV world. Then too the idiot eco-politicos don't want new power plants built unless they are wind and solar.

I may have reached a point of impatient pessimism and needed a nudge back toward the center, so thanks for that.
In my defense, 42 days between PRs while watching a $2.15 -> $1.52 descent can warp a man's imagination
On to Feb earnings and hopefully grant news before April.
Wait a minute...48c grant round 1 allocations will be made by March 31, 2024. Is this why the April hearing is the earliest the royalty decision will be made? They want to know if SLI will get grants first

Why? I'd flop my dick out and ask who in the room has a demo plant that is currently extracting lithium.
That's why the PR needs a weekly or monthly proof of concept report with amounts of soup to nuts independently verified. The SLI PR sucks. It's all talk and no substance.

Folks !!
I'm wondering if there's any interest in drafting a common letter addressed to Mintak and Robinson with our concerns and suggestions, and sending it to SLI IR as an email campaign?
If we can get even 20-30 people to send it, it should catch their eye and hopefully consider our suggestions.
Maybe I'm being too naive here but is there any harm in trying?

So we all cutting ties from this thing and realizing it’s game over?

Today morning's 7% drop broke my back.
Had to sell all the stock I had bought on margin at a loss of well above 50,000 dollars.
The only way I break even now is if this climbs to 11 dollars.
Life just smacked me so hard.
ETA I know no one here gives a shite and it was my greed that cost me this money.. But I thought I'd share regardless.

If SLI had continually produced battery grade lithium over the last 3 years and simply stock piled it, it would be a major proof of concept and a solid asset on the books pending completion of the royalty agreement.
As it is, SLI is just a science experiment that the market is skeptical of.

I can hold and figure at some point there will be a pop. Yahoo really has been pumping it lately. Doesn’t make me think better of SLI, just reaffirms my opinion of yahoo finance.
So are we thinking their leases are also worthless to another outfit that could just buy them outright?

So, has any other lithium company experimented with their technology in the Smackover formation besides SLI? Lithium is going to be produced in the USA somewhere. The Smackover seems like the best location to do it. It seems to me that these DLE technologies are very finicky and don't work in every circumstance. This alone should give SLI a leg up on everyone in the smackover formation as they have lots and lots of data and have tailored their process for this brine. So, is XOM really going to build a plant with a process that has never been tested in the smackover? That seems really risky...unless they plant to use SLI / Koch.

Why is everyone selling over the stock price if no data good or bad came out? Is it the company financials? I haven’t seen much change from the timeline and status 2 months ago.
What is the red flag?
edit, did Just read Fe’s post. Thats not great.

Also a thought. The demo plant may not be running to save $. They know it works and they aren’t using their own DLE process on A1

So I asked Ms. Howell if SLI is expecting the royalty decision at the April hearing or if that's just the soonest that it can happen.
She responded,
"[ev247], it is our current understanding that a decision is likely to be made regarding the royalty at the April AOGC meeting."
