re: Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?

Info like the South American brine transformation is what makes me think that what is in the investor presentations is just the tip of the iceberg, and we’ll be discussing a completely new set of catalysts and revenue projections this time next year.
That's a HUGE tidbit in that release. Low quality South American brine converted to high quality lithium carbonate. No need for evaporation pits. Makes environmentally destructive evaporation ponds obsolete, especially in areas where weather can be an issue.
And look at that, while everyone thought they were sitting on their asses and diluting shares, they were building, optimizing and making high quality lithium. That's why they needed that money in December. Lanxess was too hesitant and they had people tell them they'd back them. That's why you didn't see the price go to $1.70 as many predicted. Told y'all those shares were already sold.

What is the south american brine transformation you speak? I thought that was llkkf territoy?

Yeah I feel like this is the first we have heard anything about South America.

That is when I learned my lesson not to try the swing trades on this stock! I lost out on 2k shares in the $1.50 range.

Not that there was much doubt but they didn’t move the sift machine down to Arkansas to not have the joint venture set.
Didn't matter. They could produce and pay for full project themselves. They have other potential revenue sources than Lanxess. Germans notorious for taking waaaaay to long to act. Mintak and Robinson DFA. They took all the Tetra leases late last year. I think it was in November that I saw the names had changed on the lease from Tetra to Standard Lithium on the brine lease map.
That's why I think there's a possibility that the joint venture could be better than even 60/40. Lanxess still wins either way. They can exercise options for like 1.6million more shares or whatever it is. So more SLI makes, the more LNXSF makes. So if you see a big dip in LNXSF, I'd buy. I have been since around $30, but most at around $35-38 I think. I forget I have it sometimes.

It is. Other than a reference Mintak made years ago when this very first started. I was asking him more details about the process and was it limited to just "clean" brine from deep wells or on any brine. He said the process at Lanxess was project specific, but it could be modified for temps/content/impurities etc. but they could take lower quality brine that would normally only produce cheap/low grade lithium and turn that turd into a diamond (not his words. He was more scientific and shite). It was all theory and basically garage experiments at that point. A really nice garage in Vancouver, but still very small scale. Even then he seemed to know something no one else did and couldn't quit smiling about it. Dude has been supremely confident the entire time.
This was supposed to be happening about 4-5 months ago. Everyone thought Trudeau would open border after inauguration just to spite Trump. Member that spike to $3.65 and I predicted over $5 in two weeks? Glad I thought so. Loaded up more but border delay fricked things up. My fear now is the bull market is fading and the bears are getting hungry. Was hoping we could get a quick irrational run up, swing about 75k shares and maybe increase my holding by 30-40% or more.
Wasn't expecting Monday. Got caught flat footed and no phone to keep tabs.

It's in the press release. Doesn't specify from exactly where. Just says they've been turning low quality S.American brine into the rich stuff for the past year.

So who is providing them with the South American brine?

I assume with confirmation the sift plant has been producing in VCR we should have some token revenue maybe this q.
The South American brine transformation is fascinating
I would assume that. Can't guarantee, but with Lanxess buying all of the demo plant production and waiver to immediately uplist, I would think they'd be having to show revenue. Can't find an earnings date.

Isn't that the same group that just leased/bought land in the Smackover region?

Dunno, but didn't Albermarle acquire a bunch down there? They'd be my guess.

That was Galvanic out of Oklahoma. Not sure who all they may be partnered with. Worth an internet search.

It's worth checking out Saltworks. They manage waste water, concentrate brine and are working to achieve zero liquid emissions-clean water from waste/brine/tailbrine.
This is a multi-faceted project. This isn't just for lithium. If chemical plants/brine plants and producers can achieve clean water at an economically favorable price, they'll save a ton of money. From my understanding, when SLI is done with the brine it will be essentially drinkable. So no EPA issues on brine spills. They'll be filtering an improving our aquafer. So think about how much chemical companies spend on diluting/disposing of their waste water and run-off. If it takes that route...holy shite.

Galvanic has a subsidiary called Saltwerx. I'll look into Saltworks Technologies.

Another company to keep an eye on. Currently privately owned. Them Canadians are a tight knit crew. Seem to like to do business with each other. Kinda like a fraternity. Man, I wish there was some big arse lithium purchaser from Canada.

I never swing with long term shares. Hold original, buy extra along the way for swings. If the swing trade drops, Ill have extra shares for long. Win win.

SLI, one of two green dots in a sea of red.

I was playing with it in my paper trade testing ground doing swing trades. It's up more than all the rest combined.

Yup. As usual, SLI propping up my otherwise dismal portfolio.
Bout to go on a selling spree of everything but SLI.
