Direct PLUS student loans

Anyone have any info to share on a Direct PLUS student loan, I think it is a private loan through the Dept of Education? I currently have an unconsolidated loan which covers my tuition. However October is my last term and I am going to need extra funds to cover graduation expenses, as I would love to participate in the ceremony in December. I've read a bit where they do a credit check and all, but I'm wondering if basic tuition is already covered by another loan, what's the chances of qualifying?

What are graduation expenses?

direct plus loans help to cover cost of attendance. you should be able to receive living expenses, fees, and tuition worth from this loan. The thing is this usually only covers 10 of the 12 months in the year, to reflect the months you will be attending school.
But as you are just looking to bridge some other expenses this loan should work just fine.

Seriously, graduation ceremony participation shouldn’t cost you much. Gown rental....you don’t need invitations, or anything else. What costs do you anticipate?
