Whatever the truth may be, we can rest assured that BTC will be fighting an uphill battle against the US government and MSM propaganda machine.

There will be a few more of these, some even worse than this, on the ride up the mountain. Recall 2017 had six 30% corrections

You should probably beware of confusing ignorance with malevolence.

the millions of people who trade crypto everyday for starters

I'm also guessing that even if you do not trade crypto that most people don't support statism but who knows

Another thing to add, what requirements are required to sign up on each of those exchanges. ID, proof of residency, tax reporting, etc..?

Distributed Ledger Technology has a good chance of being the fulcrum used to peacefully displace out of control governments.

Once you see it you can't unsee it.

What makes ETH and LINK the #2/3 coin to invest in today? I know very little as I’m just getting started, but have seen these two as well as Litecoin mentioned

Lite coin statistically isn’t a good investment (compared to others listed). ETH is basically a giant computer that you can build various things on top of. It is the most widely used crypto for this purpose. LINK helps “link” off chain data to crypto blockchains. Head to YouTube. We’re not going to be ale to describe this stuff nearly as well in the same amount of time.

I’m pretty convinced they will try, but will fail horribly

But I don’t mean outright ban, I think they will play a game where you are legally disincentivized from using them
