I'm focused on airlines right now over cruises because they are essential to the US economy and won't be allowed to fail. Cruises are in just as bad of shape as airlines and could realistically go to zero. After airline stocks get me some solid returns following the bailout, I think cruise stocks will still be dirt cheap and I can buy some time to see how the bankruptcy odds look. I don't see the cruises getting bailouts. They are non essential, take US tourists AWAY from US businesses for a week, and lots of their employees are not US citizens.

Trump mentioned them in the speech today with other industries possibly getting bailouts. Personally I don’t think they should get a gov bailout. I would maybe agree with it if their whole staff on all the predominately american ships were American workers.

Oof - would you get on a ship that was used to treat virus patients?

Mickey Arison offered Carnival ships to accommodate patients that do not have COVID-19 in order to free up hospital rooms to treat COVID-19 patients.
