I get a USPS mailed hard-copy notice when someone does a hard-hit on my credit.

How did you set this up?

Don't know much about the fold card but the new account could also lower the avg. age of accounts which could also facilitate a drop

Paying with PayPal likely caused your charges to hit your statement and give you a higher credit utilization percentage than you have regularly paying on time. The reason being is that PayPal likely delayed this and let charges hit your statement that you are used to paying off before showing. It may not appear so but could be the case if PayPay caused any type of delay.

Try this, my wife was going back to school to further her education. Her loan repayment schedule was set up to be drafted out of our account each month. The loan company sent the loan to someone else after payments had already been made for years, without letting us know. We get mail in and wife was throwing away the bills not knowing what it was. Didn’t realize it until almost 3 months later. Messed out credit up.
