About to start study, myself. I'm leaning towards buy Gleim materials (the whole shebang). Probably get Yaeger video for the Fars and Reg sections.

Well good luck to you sir. What made you decide to go with that route for studying? Anything in particular?

Nothing in particular. I have friend from college (who also works for state gov't) who bought gleim materials.
I visit the CPAnet Forum for tips and insights, and I heard great things about Yaeger videos.
If this doesn't work over 1-2 years, then I'm going Becker route.
Planning to take:
BEC
REG
AUD
FAR
in that order.

I haven't really thought about it till now. Rough estimate: May 15th - July 22, take out about 3 weeks = 61-21= 41 days. Avg probably 6 hours a day, wow right at 250 hours hah (246 exact). Add another 12 to it for today and tomorrow. I was supposed to take it initially almost 2 weeks ago fwiw. REG is supposed to be slightly less, BEC is a joke relatively speaking. AUD is somewhere between REG and FAR, but I think that really depends on your audit experience (I have 0), I've heard a lot of people struggle with that.

250+hrs for one exam?? that seems like overkill. you should do really well.

It probably is, but I don't want to have to take it again, and since it is directly related to my career, I'd prefer to know as much of it as possible.

I thought it was too easy so I probably failed it like a boss.
