Watched Duncan Midknight dark roast go up from $12 something to over $14 for 18 ozs of ground coffee.
But, it was then lowered (after a couple of months) to under $14 to $13 and a couple quarters.
Even in a compromised economy, Walmart is still living the American dream.
Speaking of price correction, how about gas prices? Is this "permanent price point" going to ruin political dreams?

I’m in food manufacturing and I still have pending increases near 15% scheduled for July 1.
It ain’t over and the back half commodity outlook is worse.

I'm in the building materials (non wood) space and there are 6-8% increases that haven't gone through and the back half doesn't look any better.

Crude oil price (and Diesel) will be key component and flow through many consumer goods prices for foreseeable future.
When will demand destruction begin is the magic 8 ball question.
