Filed chapter 11, 380 Babcock stores closing, 170 Conn’s closing.
Babcock holding going out of business sales, so if you’re needing some furniture might want to go by.
Company lasted over 130 years, just goes to show it doesn’t take much to kill a business.

There has been a Conn’s here for several years. I walked through it once when it first opened, and it seemed like a place for poor folks to finance stuff.
Never see anyone going in or out when I drive by, and have been wondering how they stayed in business. I guess they don’t.
