Thanks.
ETA: My W4 actually says I live in Tennessee. Does that mean my company won't withdraw LA state income tax?

I put my TX address on the W4 and I have not had any LA income tax taken out FWIW.

Hmmm, this should be interesting then.
I'm just going to go ahead, get my Tennessee license and registration. Then, if Louisiana doesn't take anything out of my paycheck, then I will just wait for them to contact me. If they do, then the worst that can happen is I owe them money at the end of the year.

If your employer knows you live in TN and work in TN, then it should stop withholding LA income tax.

Bump.
I have my electricity bill and a cable bill, but haven't gotten my car title changed yet. I wonder if I should contact Louisiana Dept of Revenue and see if I will owe taxes?
At the same time, I don't know if I want to give them any information right now. I just do not want to give them any money.
